Sorry to hear this.

He and his brother Alan provided good Class E technology for us hams and commercial folks to use. Met him once and red a couple of his papers. A short bio is here:

When I worked at Analog Devices, I was dragged into a several week IEEE course that he taught in Lexington at the Raytheon facility back in 1997. Nathan Sokal went through all the classes of power amplifiers. Looking back on that and considering that I basically ignored Class D, E and Class F for 25 years, is pretty sad.
