Title: QSO request Post by: N9axl on February 26, 2016, 01:09:30 PM I finally have my 1950s station done. I was wondering if anyone was interested in a CW QSO this afternoon or this weekend to check on this.
This may or may not work. Setup is Heathkit DX-20 and Hammarlund HQ-170c into an NVIS antenna qth in southern Idaho. This is a seriously almost 1940s approach here. I don't even have a working TR switch. I'm manually putting the transmitter in standby and switching the antenna switch from the transmitter to the receiver. So bear with me in this. It will be somewhat slow. Title: Re: QSO request Post by: DMOD on February 26, 2016, 01:30:28 PM I can go down and fire up the rig on 7.290 or 7.295 for AM mode.
Forgot this is a CW rig only. Phil - AC0OB Title: Re: QSO request Post by: Pete, WA2CWA on February 26, 2016, 02:27:29 PM There's always the old standby: CQ, CQ, CQ

I gave out a CQ right before digital dude came on. My MC is rusty but gave it out anyway. Phil Title: Re: QSO request Post by: N9axl on February 27, 2016, 11:00:23 AM I'm in the shack all day working with the rig on 7.260 AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
