>>  SOLD <<  Greetings:    I have for sale a Collins R-388/UUR receiver. I looked all over for some type of serial number, none was found to identify the unit specifically. The inside top cover of course has the schematic and the model printed their. The ID plate on the front is gone. It has the normal dirt and grime associated with age. The underside of the chassis is VG. I brought it up slowly on a Variac. The tube filaments and one pilot light came on.  I did not hear sound from the speaker. No other tests were made. All the dials, switches and knobs all work OK. The cabinet was painted with a ugly brown enamel paint. I'm sure this was not stock! I believe this is the correct cabinet for this radio. On the latch is a letter "B". I have many more pictures available.  Since this is a heavy radio I would prefer not to ship. If a buyer does want it shipped I will follow the buyers instructions on packing and shipping.
