The SS-1V is the Video Bandscanner. It's  not the SS-IBS receiver.

Below, the SS-1V is to the left of the SS-1R receiver:

I (www.manualman.com) have the manual for the SS-1V and also the test procedure the factory used for aligning the units on the assembly line. The test procedure was never part of the original manual and was given to me by Ed Clegg. There was no "service manual" for the SS-1V. The SS-1V is a very unique panadapter designed specifically for the SS-1R and the SS-IBS.

I love the front view picture; I had a sports jacket in the early 70's that had that style.

Many thanks to you both!

My SS-1R now has a playmate, and I need to align it, clean it up, etc.

Pete, please PM me on that Ed Clegg business.  I have the service documentation on the receiver, along with the orignal owner's manual.  Anyone need copies?
