My Radio Craftsmen RC10 tuner that I got from my father in the 1960's sounds pretty good. Even has a 10KC notch filter to remove adjacent channel squeal. I'd hooked up a 6E5 to it as an AM tuning meter. I've got to dig it out and hook it up again, too bad there aren't any decent music stations on AM anymore, like there were in the 1960's and 1970's.

I actually used a Gertch deviation meter in my first job at a Motorola Service Center. ;)
