Title: Kenyon T-655
Post by: WA4WAX on October 11, 2015, 10:18:27 AM
I found a Kenyon T-655 in storage today.  It is suppose to be a power transformer, but I have no data.

Can anyone help?

Thanks!

Kenyon T-655 is a plate xfmr with a number of different ratings.  Two secondary ac voltages, 1150vac ct, OR, 920vac ct.   Current load is 250ma continuous with a 55degC temp rise.  Intermittent operation is 340ma using the higher ac voltage and 375ma using the lower ac voltage.  Intermittent operation to be 15min on and 15min off with a 55degC temp rise.  No info on the primary voltage but probably 117-120 vac.  Weight is 10Ibs, 1oz.

Xfmr is designed for a choke input filter at the stated current ratings.  Probably not good for a FWB rectifier.
