Garey Barrell's hint, to check out Fender guitar switch tips at Antique Electronic Supply, inspired me to look there and elsewhere. A pair of Fender Strat black switch tips from Chicago Music Exchange cost all of $3.99 (free shipping!). They arrived today, I tried 'em, and they fit perfectly. And they're USA-made.
