Or what the rules are on CB if ANY, I would not know who to contact if I did hear or see a violation {don't say FCC} I know that.

For all the good it does, here are the FCC rules governing Part 95. You might just as well go to the source, rather than some yokel's interpretation. From what I have seen in the FCC Daily Digest, they do little enforcement there except for an occasional linear amplifier bust. I'm not sure if there's anyone at the Enforcement Bureau who has the time and budget to chase any but the most egregious violators. Title: Re: C.B. 95.404 (CB Rule 4) Do I need a license? You do not need an individual license to operate a CB station. You are authorized by this rule to operate your CB station in accordance with the rules in this subpart. I know several people in my town that CB a lot, I am just keeping it all lawfull.

Some tried to argue the modulator s yle amplifier legality because it only raised the pep value of the transmitter. The carrier remained at 4 watts.
