Title: Coils for BC-610 ?? Post by: W6TOM on August 23, 2015, 03:24:31 PM I got these coils at a few local swaps. The larger is 5 1/2" long and the OD is 4 1/4" The smaller is 5 1/2" long and the OD is 3 1/4" I'm told they are for a BC-610 transmitter, one set is labeled 14 - 18 MC, the second set no labels. I plan to give these to a friend who has a BC-610, can anyone confirm that these are in fact for a BC-610 and also the frequency of the unlabeled along what other equipment they may be for if not a BC-610? Here are photos, maybe you can compare them to mine and read the printing on the ceramic. Or tell me which one and I can go read it to see.

The coil on the right is for the BC-610 amplifier for the input grid circuit known as the AM-141. The coil in the second picture on the right is for antenna matching or a tuner since it has no center tap for B+. AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
