With that flat horizon you must have incredible coverage. I'll bet the folks there appreciate those compounds. Question on the towers: Is each guy cable connected directly to each individual tower leg or are there guy assembly brackets I cannot see that go around the tower at each level to distribute the load to the other legs? The horizontal re-barr webbing is doubled up and welded full length at the ends of each section. The cable is the attached directly to the tower leg with cable guides. It appears you have no big torque on the tower, but if you did, star guying (6 point guys per level) torque arms are the next step. I use them on two towers here, but these towers have heavy ham-bone loads.
The reason I axed is that I've seen some Rohn 25/45 towers that were not reinforced at all at the guy attachments - and break cross webbing welds because of torque or strain at those points. Some forget to use the guy assys and pay the price with collapsed towers when the big storms kick ass.... It was extemely stable to climb and a kick to work on.

Wow, that area is FLAT! I hadn't realized until I looked at these photots how flat it was. With terrain like that I'd guess there'd occasionally be some pretty strong winds and heavy weather. It's piqued my curiosity. What's the name of the state (or are they called provinces in Bolivia?) where the compound's located? Which, by the way, goes from the Amazon basin @200ft elevation to the Andes at 15,000ft.

Yes... water is at a premium. We DRANK bottled water the entire time. With temps running between 95 and 105 I was drinkin' 2 to 3 liters a day. I'll post some pix of the water well drilling we did next week. We drilled 2 wells.... both of which were pumping 10 gals/min when we left. And Paul... I have a map somewhere in this 'puter I can put on the page. Might not be a bad idea to place it on the first page within the intro.
