Title: Screen Modulated 4-1000A Post by: Chris P. on April 21, 2015, 09:47:25 PM It looks like I have the right junk laying around here to build a screen modulated 4X1 rig similar to the method KB3AHE used. Right now its looking like a pair of 6BG6's into a small multi tap mod transformer, but that may change as I dig through the junk and see what I have. Looking at pictures of his rig here: http://amfone.net/Amforum/index.php?topic=16319.0 Can anyone tell me what the control marked drive did? It looks like a wire wound pot. Maybe screen voltage control on the 6146?

I think I have all the right iron here to do this, but thanks for the offer! Hopefully this thing will start coming together soon, and be on the air sometime this year. |
