and read the following: If, "US amateurs, and those of all other countries, who wish move their principal residence to Canada should apply for a Canadian certificate with Canadian call sign, and must first pass the Canadian certificate examinations for Basic Qualification plus other Qualifications required for the privileges desired. Citizenship of Canada is not required." Is this true? If visiting Canada, we can merely sign call/ve3(or whatever). The requirement you cited is if we as US citizens declare a permanent residence in Canada.
