Title: PIC-A-STAR Post by: flintstone mop on February 17, 2015, 11:35:58 AM Anybody ever try one of these projects to build?? Not extremely an easy kit to find parts for. And the specs are not published. No A.M. from what I can pick out.

Elecraft supplies all the parts, and its all trough hole stuff and its still a job to build a full K2. DZ makes (made?) the sienna which looks cool, 70 MHz 1st IF though: http://www.dzkit.com/highlights.htm Complex, lots of parts (they supply) low power output, not cheap. Various SDR kits including some that TX like the Peaberry V2: http://ae9rb.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=8 Really good performance out of that one. Wilderness radio makes the Sierra: http://www.fix.net/~jparker/wilderness/sierra.htm Kit list: http://www.amateurradio.com/amateur-radio-kit-roundup-updated/ |
