Anybody ever try one of these projects to build?? Not extremely an easy kit to find parts for. And the specs are not published. No A.M. from what I can pick out.

Good luck with that!
Elecraft supplies all the parts, and its all trough hole stuff and its still a job to build a full K2.
DZ makes (made?) the sienna which looks cool, 70 MHz 1st IF though:

Complex, lots of  parts (they supply) low power output, not cheap.
