Title: Listening on the outside speaker Post by: N3DRB The Derb on January 30, 2005, 10:13:24 PM I did even worse than that - I gave one away to the huzman for keeping my gear lit for me. That was a SX 400 and I think he still has it.
I have owned a 100, 4 or 5 200's and 2 400's and 2 600's over the years. Title: Listening on the outside speaker Post by: Steve - WB3HUZ on January 30, 2005, 10:35:37 PM Still got it. Still use it. Mucho TNX OM. Wish I would have bought the 200 from ya. I liked the looks of that one better.
Title: Listening on the outside speaker Post by: N3DRB The Derb on February 01, 2005, 11:12:03 PM That was a sweet reciever. I'm sure whomever has it now digs it as well.
I saw a Alinco TX-70D on ebay for 300 bucks I should have gotten it. Title: Listening on the outside speaker Post by: w3jn on February 02, 2005, 07:22:07 AM Wonder what sounds better on AM - the Alinco or my TS-50? AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
I have a dozen or so busted up D-104s I can test on the air with the TS-50 - preferably in the middle of a fast break-in session - if anyone's interested. 73 John |
