Title: Where to buy 3CX800A7's
Post by: K6JEK on January 23, 2005, 08:40:24 PM
Do any of you have a favorite source for ceramic tubes?  I need a pair of 3CX800A7's, some reasonable pulls would be fine.

RF Parts wants $525 each for Svetlana's and "Call" for Eimac.  Yikes.

Try Murphy Surplus in Ca. he has used ones.
He gets them out of Harris 500 watt aplifiers

Thanks for the tip on Murphy's surplus.  He has partial Harris RF decks containing an Eimac 3CX800A7 for $295.  He gave me a deal on two.  The tubes are guaranteed good -- returnable.

Mike is a good guy. He let me loose in the back room once. It was like
