Title: 160M QSOs
Post by: ka4koe on November 09, 2014, 09:44:03 AM
Managed two (2) QSOs on 1885 KC last night. 160m was quiet. Stations worked were K4AK and W3LQB. Not terribly distant, but at least the new doublet is working at least out to one hop.

I am in Utah and don't hear much out way. The more I flip switches and turn knobs to hear something the more I want to turn around and go get in bed  >:(   surely there is someone out their to chat with  ???

Have called CQ a number of times on 1980 kHz lately but no response.  Alot of hash noise here.  Maybe I'll try again tonight.

1980 khz was alive and well last evening  Had someone actually answer my CQ and got a nice QSO going.  Great to see activity.
