Yesterday, Sunday 12 okt, I worked again some AM stations on Ten. My son (Duco) and I visit Lauwersoog were we have eating fisch... When we came back I listen in our livingroom... I heard Larry on 29040 khz talking & talking with many stations. After a cup of coffee I did go to my studio and listen again. The repeater on 29620 FM were strong! I tuned again to Larry and I wait to say hello to him. First he spoke with another station then he called me! This stations I worked on Ten in AM: - K1IED, Larry, 29040 khz, S3 - S9 - EA7JJF, Antonio, 29025 khz, S1 - S5, - N1ID, Ron, 29080, S1 - S2, some words I missed - K1KW, Chuck, 29080, S7 - S9+20 Sorry I could not get all from you Ron, but most I heard! After our qso I thought: ŽNow is comming a locale station on the freq.'! But Chuck saying 'Hello Henk,' to me! With a giant signal from him we had (again) a nice talk in AM. Oh yes, I heard evenso: W3VDF?? and N1EU with good signals. I tried but both did not heard me, later I heard them talking with others. Today Monday again many AM on Ten! I worked these: - PA3HDM, Henk, 29000 khz, +/- 5 km from me max. S6 1/2 - WA2PJP, Jo, 29035 khz, S3 - S5 - AA3RE, Peet, 29037,5, S0 - S3 - R7KI, Valerij?, 29005, S2 - S8 And in our livingroom I hear Chuck K1KW on 29000 using only 12 Watts? But the S-meter from the Kenwood 5000 gives max. S9+! Thanks all stations for the nice qso in AM! :D Good dx, Henk, pe1mph Dokkum, The Netherlands Title: Re: K1IED, AE7JJF, N1ID and K1KW Post by: w1vtp on October 13, 2014, 11:28:21 AM Hello AM Lovers, Yesterday, Sunday 12 okt, I worked again some AM stations on Ten. Well done -a keeper Al Thanks Al, Sometimes we go to Lauwersoog to eat fish! At Sunday many people visit that harbour. Oh by the way, now: 16.00 hours by me. I can hear on 29.660 an USA Repeater FM, S0 - S3. I think it is these: WB2HWW. Listen to the short recording I just made. On 29.640 I hear 2? Repeaters in FM mode? The Repeater on 29.620 has now S2 - S8 Sorry I know it is fm... sorry.... ;D I hope to hear next again AM on Ten! Greetings, Henk, pe1mph Dokkum, The Netherlands Title: Re: K1IED, AE7JJF, N1ID and K1KW Post by: pe1mph on October 22, 2014, 09:43:23 AM No fish today! AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
While I type this, I heard weak AM on Ten. Just on 29.000 and 29.030 AM stations from the USA. I think today are no good conditions.... Last night we had a storm. So we could not eat fish in Lauwersoog. The water is standing now very high... See photo. Greetings, Henk, pe1mph Dokkum, The Netherlands |
