Title: Nice to Have Good Friends! New Valiant
Post by: W1TAV on September 22, 2014, 09:18:32 PM
At the Spring NearFest, I passed up and later regretted not picking up a rough looking a Valiant.  Not that I needed it, however ...... . Long Story Short, a friend of mine bought it and it cleaned up very nicely. A few weeks ago the new owner put the word out he was thinking of selling it. Another friend who knew my regret at not having picked it up, conspired with the owner on a deal and this weekend it was presented to me as a gift!  Nice to have Good Friends!

One of your knobs doesn't have a white pointer. That can't be good.

What a great gift!  Sometimes things do work out and since since you were "gifted" its time you return the favor to someone else!!

Enjoy your latest gift!
