That seller is about 25 miles from me...He knows Jukeboxes a lot better than he knows radios, that's for sure...
If I didn't have a mid 1941 Sx-28 myself, I might have been interested....

Regular ole knob twister, ain't he?.  I'd be embarrassed to post that video.  An outside antenna would have really helped with that raw crud that was on the band.  Oh well, sigh, at least the old girl is still working very well.  Imagine what she would sound like in the hands of a master - with that great bass reflex speaker system - the R12 (see link below)

Thanks for the video

Al

Well he just needs some coaching on how to SWL, and likely did not have the manual.
I agree I would have never put that embarrassing knob-twister video up regardless of competencies in other areas.
It is a really nice looking specimen though. I kept thinking put the AVC on.. put the AVC on!!!

I have an R-12. The SX-28 and R-12 together is an untouchable setup worthy of use by righteous men. Been wanting to try subbing in a different Jensen 12" speaker. It is a coaxial one from the 1950's. The tweeter would give some meaning to the tone control on the SX-28, esp where older ears are concerned.
