Title: James Millen Type 90810 coils
Post by: aa3re on March 10, 2014, 07:27:07 PM
I went with a buddy the other day to answer a local ad for "radio equipment". Well we went to look, mostly already been picked over. However amongst the junk was a James Millen Type 90810 transmitter, serial #125. Hey what a score for less than $50. I also got a unknown CW transmitter chock full of 80m crystals. I'm thinking power supply for the James Millen. A VTTM made by Philco that is cool. Plus a home brew 10 meter 3 tube CW transmitter that is nicely done. Not to mention a very nice roller inductor. All for the one price!
Now my problem is the James Millen only has the 6 meter in/out coils.
Does any one have by chance spare James Millen part #'s 48011 and 48111 10 meter in/out coils?
A second best would be the data, turns, diameter and spacing for them so I can wind my own.
Thanks in advance, and hope to contact you in the future on my 1947 James Millen Type 90810.
