Title: Nice Chat W1VTP
Post by: ka4koe on January 13, 2014, 02:58:30 PM
Had a nice chat with W1VTP Alan in NH this past weekend, around 3872. He was running his 300W Class E rig and putting in a big 20+ signal into SE GA.

Hello Philip,
This morning I heard AM on 3872, 3880 and 3885 khz!
Only from one station I could hear some words on 3872 khz, not clearly.... :(
A strong, strange noise/carrier/rtty were on 3870.

On 3880 I heard a man talking, I think Don K4KYV?!

On 3885 I heard several stations, but to weak to get names or calls.

You all know what time I listening early mornings.... ;D
