Does anyone have a spec. for the audio frequency response for an UN-molested Viking Valiant?

It is not stated in the manual, but I would be very surprised if the range was not between 300-2700.

That's a pretty good number.... and the response probably isn't flat, even in this restricted range - and there will be a lot of distortion.

Page 4 of the Valiant manual says:  "audio filter consisting of C94, C95, and L45 keep the frequency response to the range 250 to 3000 cycles."
