Title: balun winding
Post by: KA9EGW on November 27, 2013, 10:27:39 PM
Winding a ferrite toroid isolation balun here...talk about a PITA...would it be legit to wind it with something on the order of a quadrafilar winding of 20AWG rather than a single winding of 14AWG?  Wouldn't it actually work better on account of skin effect?  Or is this just a JS concept?  73, Brian KA9EGW

On a related note, what's a good source for the real small solderwick in lengths greater than a foot or two?
