Post by: pe1mph on November 17, 2013, 12:25:48 PM
Hello AM lovers,

Today again good conditions on Ten Meters!
At 14.00 o'clock by me (13.00 utc) I heard already AM stations on Ten. :)
Signals were about 1 hour later very good!

First I listen to (AM Lover) Steve: K4HX.
He were in qso with Uncle Cor: PA0AM from S-W part of The Netherlands.
Steve were around S8 by me and I couldn't hear Cor.
I listen shortly to the webreceiver New York: http://pa3ang-rpi.nl
At the end I heard Cor on that receiver....
After their qso I asked Steve to do my regards to Uncle Cor.
Ofcourse Steve did it for me and I give him the freq. back...

Next I listen to Larry K1IED on 29065 khz, he had a big signal max.: S9 +20.
But conditions were changing, I got more fading on the AM signals.
I said quickly hello to Larry and I recorded a transmission from him.
A pity later his signal were going down to S2...

After our qso I listen to Joe WA2PJP on 29040 khz.
And I made a little recording from him while the signals going down on Ten.
Evenso I heard more stations from the USA calling cq in AM.
I abstracted to leave the studio, because conditions were already bad. :'(

My transmitter: Yeasu FT 901 DM
Recording receiver: Yeasu FRG 7000

Thats all for today on Ten,

Henk, PE1MPH
