Title: 3660 khz AM from Norway
Post by: pe1mph on November 16, 2013, 01:46:13 PM
Hello AM Lovers,

This afternoon I had again a qso on 3660 in AM.
With LA2OLD from Norway at +/- 17.20 by me (16.20 utc).
He had a big signal but many ssb stations on freq.
Thats maybe the reason he did first not get my call correct.
He did understand pa1mph, but later he note it good... a = e :)

For more info from Norway AM see: http://www.hamradio.no/la2old/

Every Saturday afternoon they are on 3660 khz.
First in ssb mode and later in AM mode.

I used my Yeasy FT 901 DM to talk with him in AM on 3660 khz.
Because I have no 3660 khz crystal for my homemade transmitter...
My antenna: Inverted V

Greetings,
