Title: Altec 1592 mike preamp help Post by: Opcom on September 22, 2013, 08:36:37 PM Does anyone have a schematic or manual for the Altec 1592 microphone preamp/mixer?
I have one that needs repair. I'm not sure how to wire it up properly. For sure it is broken tho'. I want to stop using a hi-fi amp phono input as the mike preamp and use the right kind of equipment. Won't that be nice? Title: Re: Altec 1592 mike preamp help Post by: WBear2GCR on September 23, 2013, 12:30:39 PM a start, with info on the modules...

It is a very robust unit, and being modular in the gain department, you can have all mics, all +4 dB 600Z, or mixed inputs. Contact me if you don't land the lit. 73DG Title: Re: Altec 1592 mike preamp help Post by: flintstone mop on September 26, 2013, 06:52:47 AM Those were such great names "back in the day".
