He was operating in his "Unusual Antenna Challenge" event. He was using a car trailer with a folding household ladder as the radiating element. He was operating from a park around St.Louis area if my memory is correct.Seems he was using the trailer as the counterpoise to the ladder vertical.Anyways, I was thrilled and learned something my first time out.He had pix on-line and maybe they still are there to see if we Google "Strange Antenna Challenge"...
