The proper spelling is Ephrata. But I could swear I used to hear someone on 75 meters pronounce it as spelled on the sign below. Was the sign painter listening in?

maybe the 75m op was one who made the sign. Or the truck driver in the other post was on 75m when passing through. ;D

Yes, as I recall from the WFD sessions back then, Dave had some personal nicknames for
several communities in his immediate area...

I miss those sessions with the original crew.
