Boy, is that kid misusing that egg-beater. ;D I used to wind coils by pulling wire up between my closed knees, keeping it taut while turning the coil form. A slight angle insured aligned spooling. Only problem was tying it off without slack and getting a suddenly messed up tangle. Took a little practice, a "hot thumb" and some pre-drilled holes.
