Title: Use of CRC spray lubricant on boatanchors? While at Home Depot yesterday I saw the 5 oz. cans in the electrical section for $2.98 each and bought one. Good results, bad results? I had an old can, then bought some at HD. I was surprised to see that it was still made. The cans were full size for about 3.00. Now I see HD only has a small can for the same 3.00. Most of the time the propellent will run out long before the can is empty. WD-40 will due the same leaving much in the can. The trick with WD-40 is to shake the can well before using it and you should be able to almost empty the can. I think the same is true with the 2-26 can, shake it. Most of the time I just use WD-40 on switches and controls, works well, but 2-26 would be my first choice. Fred |
