Amplitude Modulation Transmitter Rally Contest and Operating Event On the HF Amateur Bands (160 meters to 10 meters) Takes place This Weekend! Date: Saturday, February 16th 6:00AM EST to Monday, February 18th 02:00AM EST (11:00 PM PST Sunday, 2/17) The Rally has a web site at http://www.amrally.com (http://www.amrally.com) with complete rules and other information. We have Free logging software for the event! Easy to use, and no paper required. Just a reminder - and if you haven't got your special events call for the event, there is still time. This is a good event for the AM Community. Last year we had 513 stations participating. If you can keep a log, even simple one, that would be great - so we can get hard numbers to show the "big boys" just how pervasive AM really is on the bands. But, ultimately this is an operating event, so no matter what you do, just get out there and be on the bands this weekend and have a Lot of Fun! :D Note: An amazing number of people don't read forums on the Internet, so when you're on the air, talk up the event so we can get a log of activity! 8) |
