Of course in their day they looked completely modern and up to date!

Could you even imagine anyone building that today and actually get it working as per the article!  Just finding all those right angle drives and aligning properly is beyond most ::)....I wouldnt even want to try it ;D

But it sold a lot of parts for their advertisers.  Think of it as a vintage infomercial :)
