Title: Radio News "All Purpose Transmitter and Receiver"
Post by: WQ9E on October 21, 2012, 05:44:53 PM
As time permits I am scanning articles from some of the vintage magazines I picked up at hamfests.  This first is from the July 1939 issue of Radio News.  It is scanned in two parts to stay within post limits.

What a Rube Goldberg affair that is and on top of it all they used an obsolete receiver in a marine radio telephone.

Id bet it all didnt survive until WW2.
