Title: QST Managing Editor dies in house fire Post by: WA3VJB on August 20, 2012, 10:33:32 AM Sorry to have to note the passing of Joel Kleinman this past weekend in a fire at his home in Connecticut. Thanks to a posting on QRZ.com for the heads up.
Joel, N1BKE, helped open the door to several articles about AM that I wrote (and co-wrote) in recent years. As Managing Editor of QST magazine, it was mostly up to him to commission an article out of a story idea. I appreciated his receptiveness to our part of the hobby, and hope the best for the recovery of his wife, who was rescued from the home.
