Looks like even if you pay, there is a limitation on how much you can download.

Each page appears to be a separate PDF, which would make a hassle out of downloading an entire issue.  Not sure if one could use a PDF editor to combine all pages in a single issue to one PDF file after downleading. Some PDFs are locked read-only to keep you from doing anything with them, if you lack hacker expertise.

I still might do a short term subscription and download missing issues to fill holes in my early dead-tree archive.

I have some 1946 dupes that I would trade for missing 1945/1946 issues.

Need: Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, June, July, Sept 1945,
                Jan, May 1946

Have extra 1946: Apr, June, July, Aug, Oct, Nov, Dec

Also have some dupe issues of pre-WWII RADIO.

Anyone interested in a trade?  Contact me by PM.

It can be useful if you're looking for a specific article by looking in the index. I think I do not say anything new by saying that a system to store pages is "snapping" the screen using the STAMP key on the keyboard and copy the "photo" on PAINT (or something similar). After you must crop the picture (page). Yes, it's a long process....... :(

What's a "STAMP" key on the keyboard?

The easiest way is just to download each page as a PDF file, and store all the pages to each issue in a separate folder.  I tried that with the 10 free pages of a couple of issues, and it let me save the downloaded pages. Another possibility, for a few missing issues in a collection, would be to print out a whole issue, each page double-sided on the paper, and staple them together. The earliest issues would not be so much a problem because they didn't have that many pages.  Later issues as the magazine grew bigger wouldn't be worth saving every single page.

(Maybe it's also called PRINT SCREEN ?)

Just a clarification on the STAMP key:
I’m using a keyboard with keys entries mostly in Italian but some are in English. The STAMP key stays for the Italian word “STAMPA”, that means PRINT, so STAMP it's a sort of abbreviation! I have always used this key and I never asked myself what was the meaning! :-[
