Love that 250TH. the 737A, the "waffle mic." Wonderful xtal mic. I lucked out on one year before last when Jeff, W0XV was up here and had a table at the Belvedere Hamfest. He had a bunch of mics and I lit on that one and it came home with me.

C That's not another one of those mics that needs a very high Z, is it. D-104s don't start sound decent until you give them 5 - 10 meg ohms to talk to. I feed it into the BC-610 as a dynamic mic. It also has been used with an HT-32, HT-37, DX-60 and I can't remember what all! She is a wonderful gal! This one makes #2 for me! It gives it its own character. That one went from Texas, to Dayton, and then to Kennesaw, GA. Then it was in the back of my Son's pickup and brought to Manassas, VA! Son temporarily lost control of the mass as he tried to come down the steps into the Den/Shack! I simply reacted and grabbed one of the four handles, taking all the weight and regaining control. Dumb reactions! I paid for that one! I am tickled that a fine Old Timer has her. He wanted an AM Tall Ship. He now does. Les is a grand Gentleman! His helper enlisted, or perhaps "drafted" is a better term, two young neighbors with *muscle*! We then came to a singular consensus - Mine! It was time to holler "stop!". Let's do this a different way! I had them unstrap it from the 700lb capacity hand truck. The two MUSCLE guys then simply lifted it and placed it right at the back of the VW Jetta station wagon. They then simply muscled it it into the air and leaned it over, sliding it o a piece of carpet that I gave to Les. Hot dog! It went right in! I had the right concept for a change! How the Jetta handled it I have no idea. I added extra miscellaneous items that were simply occupying space. Les did not leave empty handed!
