Title: RANGER Post by: K3ZW on March 14, 2012, 08:05:28 PM Does the Ranger's vfo run all the time regardless of funtion switch position ??
I have to put the VFO switch into a XTAL position to shut off the VFO in order to receive. Otherwise I get an S5 signal in my recever. My ranger has the PTT mod. Could this be a source of the problem ?? Would a shorted C20 cause this ?? Any advice is appreciated.
