Title: ZRF on 3705 Post by: W3RSW on March 03, 2012, 09:11:34 PM While tuning around with the HQ 110, I heard tonight at roughly 9:00 to :05 PM EST what sounded like ZRF. Freq. was approx. 3705.
Well, after asking the aether what various audio settings sounded like, the voice ID'd as ZRF. uh, nice I guess. Very good recording. Thanks for the lift. Radio just isn't the same without ZRF. Title: Re: ZRF on 3705 Post by: WA3VJB on March 05, 2012, 07:43:41 AM Y'all have given me an idea.
I'm gonna put some Dave® in my radio. ( like it's an active ingredient of some kind; a flavoring agent, a wasabe extract) There's a bunch of aircheck material kicking around, and it ought to be easy to catch a handover where he says MY calls. Eureka! Instant celebrity ID !!! Listen for it soon. Then again, it'd be like him. Distinctive enough voice, that's for sure. Alright, tnx Title: Re: ZRF on 3705 Post by: The Slab Bacon on March 05, 2012, 10:00:36 AM I'm gonna put some Dave® in my radio.
