Title: Another transformer for which I'd like to find specs Post by: KE6DF on March 03, 2012, 12:46:07 PM I have a large Thordarson Driver transformer.
The part number is T-3D62. I believe it's from a Gates BC-1E broadcast transmitter. It's big -- probably 12 - 15 lbs. Perhaps it would be in the Broadcast Components catalog. The 3D62 was given the name "DIBBLE" In 1941 the xfmr listed for $37.50 Try having one made today for $37.50. Hope this helps, Fred Title: Re: Another transformer for which I'd like to find specs Post by: W7TFO on March 03, 2012, 01:23:21 PM Many a firm gave a simple, single word name to individual products to make telegram orders cost you less via word count.
You didn't have to use a lot of words in a description to get your items, just say "2 Dibbles to wherever". Western Union to the rescue.... 73DG Title: Re: Another transformer for which I'd like to find specs Post by: KA2DZT on March 03, 2012, 01:28:45 PM Many a firm gave a simple, single word name to individual products to make telegram orders cost you less via word count.
