The AM Forum

The simple search function (text box at the top of the forum with a search button next to it) has been improved a little. A topic index has been created which might improve search results. Only whole words are now searched. Also, the simple search is dependent on where you are on the forum when you do the search. If you're in the Technical forum, it only searches the Technical forum/section. So, if you want to search the entire site, make sure you click the Home tab or the AM Forum menu at top and then type your search string into the text box.

I would still recommend using the Advanced Search function by clicking on the magnifying glass icon next to the search box or selecting the Search Menu option at the top of the forum (in between HELP and ADMIN) then selecting the Advanced Search (http://amfone.net/Amforum/index.php?action=search;advanced) link for better search results. You can filter by sections, dates, member, etc. These can narrow down the returns, especially of you are doing a word search on a very common/widely used word.
