Title: Re: On the air here! Post by: KX5JT on January 15, 2012, 05:01:32 PM It was squirrely at times but not too bad when I would get a solid signal.
Title: Re: On the air here! Post by: kb3ouk on January 15, 2012, 05:06:59 PM i was gonna try getting on, too, but when i went to tune my amp up, discovered it don't like 15 meters too well and i guess starts oscillating, key it up and get the tuning just right it starts putting out 100 watts worth of something, no matter how much power i am driving it with, if there's even a signal driving it at all.
Title: Re: On the air here! Post by: W1ATR on January 15, 2012, 06:40:05 PM I heard IIA calling cq about an hour or so ago and I tried to get the Junkston 500 tuned up and found the grid current way lower than it needs to be.
