That's a VERY CAJUN town with a famous dance hall that features a lot of cajun and zydeco music. I'm more of a rock and roll guy but some of that swamp rock is pretty good stuff. Mamou is about 50 miles north of my home QTH.
Yep, I have made a resolution to try to get on the air more this year, last year I wasn't so much as I would like. Hope to work you all soon!
