Title: K0JM on 3885
Post by: Steve - K4HX on November 23, 2011, 09:23:45 PM
0222Z.

South Dakota.

I've talked to Frank on 10 meters recently but I don't think I've ever heard him on 75 meters.

I've had some nice QSOs with Frank on 75, but I am a lot closer to S.D.  He runs some kind of exciter (I forget what) driving an amp these days.   He used to work for the rail road in this area so we have conversed, with him remembering the old R.R. days and me telling him how it is now (from what I know as a passenger).   He is only one of two S.D. AM stations I have worked.

Interesting character. Apparently his grandmother moved from VA back in the day when they were building the railroad in SD.
