I heard him but he was working 5 land at the time. Moved up the frequency and worked ZL2WX. Then I got the dinner bell.

Did you work him long or short path?

What does "right now" translate into clock time?  I don't know if your post's time stamp is local or ???  I'd love to work some Pacific stations while we have the gray line.

Steve's time corresponds to mine: "Eastern" time for both reports.

Thanks Pete.  No luck this evening, although many Pacific stations on SSB.

I thought that was the path but I've worked the Aussies via long path on 80 and 40 right around the same time. I have no way of telling which path is in play with my bidirectional antenna on 10 meters.

I guess I should start putting down zulu time when posting spots.

Short path (about 9K miles)

Yep, I tried from roughly 5 to 5:45PM EST today but heard little to nothing on AM other then a zero station. Did hear a number of Japanese and Australian stations down on SSB. This morning (roughly 8 to 10:30 AM) the band was hopping all the way into Russia. On the down side, I've heard some of the worse sounding "AM" rigs on 10 meters over the last several weeks not to mention the over-deviated FM rigs, and SSB transmissions masquerading as AM transmissions (i.e. not inserting enough carrier).
