Jaakko also had a nice signal into Florida this morning. He was running Collins

32V2 plus hb amp with about 300 watts to 5 over 5 yagis.  Sometimes signal

was 10 over.  I got a 5/7 from Drake TR-7 and dipole.  I am happy with that.

All right! A few of us have worked Jaakko on 80 and 40 meters using AM in recent years. I hope to catch him on 10. He does have some big antennas!

Good catch, guys.

Yep, Steve and I  had some fun with Jaaaaako too. He worked a big string of AMers one night on 3885.  I remember Carrie was astounded to work Europe on 75M AM that night.

He certainly has some big rigs and very FB yagi stacks. He is an enthusiastic AMer and gets all excited when working the crew in the USA.  I'll bet he becomes a regular fixture on 10M this cycle.

Heck, I'm building a new 10M monoband amplifer here, so hope to hold court into Europe as well.

I need to get you that 10M Yagi somehow, Steve. It's still sitting on the shelter waiting for some RF from the Huzman, caw mawn.
