Title: 10m antenna question
Post by: W7TFO on November 08, 2011, 12:57:39 AM
Is anyone running one of those military OE-254 bi-cone broadband antennas on 10?

I have one and was wondering if it is worth the effort to sling it up here.

Looks like you would have enough hardware to make "6" 10m whips
out of it.

Probably more useful for 6 meters.

What do you have up for 10 meters now?

I use a older antron 99 vertical on 10m... works killer and will take 1500 watts. The imax 2000 is a little better as it will do 10,12,15,17 and 20m with min tuning.  You can find a used antron for50 bux on craigslist or a new imax 2000 for $100 new. Gl
