Title: CQ AM JAPAN 10 M Post by: KL7OF on October 21, 2011, 06:55:55 PM I'm hearing a lot of SSB from Japan on 10 M...I am located in Washington state..There seems to be Japanese AM activity around 28.305...I looked up the Jarl band plan and if I am reading it right, AM is allowed anywhere they can use NB (narrow band up to 3khz bandwidth)as there is a footnote stating "except A3E >6 khz"..They are allowed WB modes (wideband) on 10 M from 29.51-29.70..... AMfone - Dedicated to Amplitude Modulation on the Amateur Radio Bands
Is anyone working Japan on AM? Are there any JA stations on this forum that are working into USA on AM 10M?..Check out the band plan on the JARL site..comments appreciated..Thank you ,Steve |
