Title: Raytheon RK-65 Tubes Post by: KA8WTK on September 07, 2011, 07:58:22 PM I have just been given a pair of Raytheon RK-65 tubes. What a classy looking bottle!
Filaments have continuity with no shorts between any of the elements. Haven't tried to light them as I don't think I have a fil tranny that would handle them. Glass is not discolored and they have sockets with them. Can only find one fairly good tube data sheet on the web and so far have not come up with any suggested circuits or projects for them. The old handbooks I have (either coast) don't have anything much on them either. I think the Navy used them in a ship to shore transmitter. Any one know anything else about them? Probably could be used in a similar way.
There is a guy on ebay offering a data booklet. Just looked up an 806 and it's not like your tube not that any of this matters, but I wanted to correct my post for what it's not worth ;D ;D
