Title: Transmitter Rescue Revisited
Post by: WA3VJB on September 03, 2011, 09:09:27 PM
Hard to believe it was six years ago this weekend 20-mule team Borax deployed to retrieve a transmitter from a station in Glen Burnie, Maryland.

Just re-read the write up from Mark, K3MSB --- what a hoot !

Anyone heard from him lately?

I know he found the transmitter a bit much for a project and sent it along to a new home.

Ouch..my eyes.....Extremely low quality resolution...I cannot make out what it was. Looks like a nice meter panel. It was ready for the graveyard??? Too many engineers get into it??
