Post by: K5UJ on April 26, 2011, 08:24:16 PM
Okay, now bad is night condx vis a vis WX?  Anyone braving the storm QRN ravaged 75 meters?  Or is it intolerable, as in fire up the grill and fugedabout da low bands until October?

Pretty ugly. Static is 10-20 db over-9 here. 40 meters is much better.

i had QSO anyway with W0VMC and W9SWR on 3885 around 0100Z ; i was the PWer at 300 w.; sure there was noise but enough carrier and audio to make an hour of it and get in my QSO fix for a few days  :D  But oh man, Ark. and Miss. and Texas getting hammered again tonight   :-[
